Hello from Grandma - October 1991
She writes:
Dear Shelby,
I dread my eye operation. The care afterwards is going to be a nuisance. I will be on my "p's & q's" about bending & all that stuff.
I went for a hair cut yesterday & I was amazed she didn't scalp me. Usually they cut it so short.
I made rice pudding Sunday. It sure was good.
It gets very cold here at night but the days are nice.
