What kind of holiday drink are you? I'm hot chocolate!
You Are Hot Chocolate |
The holidays are your favorite time to practice the art of giving. You enjoy picking out presents, sharing treats, and making everyone's day a little brighter. And you don't even notice if you don't get anything in return. |

What is your ideal holiday scene? Mine is familial!
Your Ideal Holiday Scene is Familial |
You like to spend this season with those closest to you, and you enjoy doing special things for the people you love. During the holidays, you are very generous. You love seeing someone light up from the perfect gift. You love the idea of a cozy holiday scene where everyone is happy, relaxed, and ready to open some presents. |

Dad - Christmas 1953
The baby photo of Johnny (off to the left of the door) is now hanging in my parents' home in one of the bedrooms. In the photo, he's sitting in a wicker chair on a patio.

Christmas 1969
Christmas 1969!
I can make out the red hippity-hop on the far left, a sewing machine that I never used, a Barbie and her wardrobe, Monopoly, and a white box in front of me labeled "Chick-U-Bator". That was the real winner! I had such fun incubating the eggs, raising one chicken named Henry and all of the resulting adventures that evolved from that one little box. That gift was hard to top and I'm not sure it ever has been. I still have the booklet that came with it (see below).
Those were the gifts that Santa hadn't wrapped ... after admiring those I'm sure my next step was to tear open the wrapped gifts.
I still use some of those ornaments that are on the tree!
