Grandma Letter & Clipping From Newspaper - February 1995
Monday, 2/6
Dear Shelby,
Your nice letter just made my gloomy day. We have 8 1/2" of snow. The temperature is very low & the wind would pick you up.
I have watched some of the Simpson trial on CNN. I think it is a farce. I can't believe his attorney.
No, I haven't had the hot chocolate. I use the International Delight (no fat) from the dairy case. They have the Irish Cream. It is delicious in coffee.
I heard from Ruth last week. They were going to pan for gold. I wish her luck.
I loved your little card. I hope you do think of me!
I tried brushing the snow off of my car yesterday because it was going to freeze last night & I had a lot of chest pain & had to stop. The snow was very heavy.
I am going Wednesday to have my taxes done. The gentleman comes here & they do not charge for doing it.
I read the Thomas Tryon book. It was a good story but the girl's names were mind boggling.
I watched 2 hours of National Geographic last night on TBS. I enjoy programs like that.
Well hon, not much going on here but look at the snow and wish it would go away. Take care & love to you & Jack. Write soon.
Love always,
Grandma
