She wrote:

Dear Shelby,

So nice to hear from you.  Sorry you had damage from the storms.  We were on the edge of a tornado watch & we had terrible rain & wind.

I am sending you the Milk Duds cookie recipe.  The brownies were a different recipe.  Do you want that tooo?  I think I used to cut the milk duds in two.  They are hard to cut.

I bet your teas are good.  The ones you gave me at Christmas are good.  Especially the peach.  I love apricot too.  I used my last one of those yesterday.

I went to Dr. Jones yesterday &  he is very pleased.  I have to get a new eyeglass lens for that eye.  The nurse said Medicare would pay for it since I had the operation.  They won't pay for just  an eye exam to get glasses.  I'm so glad I had the operation.  I had a rough year last year.  But for 80 years, I had no trouble so I can't complain.
