Grandma Letter ~~ February 1975
She wrote:
Dear Shelby,
Well, you should be here to get out in all this snow. We really had a dandy today. It started with sleet & freezing rain, then turned to snow. The banks, stores, etc. closed early.
How are your grades? Did you get a good report card?
Is your hair getting long? Are you going to keep it short?
Did Bebe have her kittens yet?
I hope your cape looked okay after I fixed it.
I am knitting myself a sweater like the one I made your mother. The one with the green diamond pattern on it.
Well, I must write your mother a few lines ~~ so write when you can.
