Dear Shelby,
Received your pretty card. Thanks! Love your stamps.
Louise is doing fairly well, considering she has had two open heart surgeries & knee replacement. I get her mail & do a little grocery shopping for her.
I twisted my ankle Saturday & boy what a mess I was. I couldn't walk. I put ice on it & kept it raised but the swelling was bad. Last night it was really swollen. Today it is better but is starting to swell again. I go to Dr. Shore tomorrow & am glad. I feel okay but just can't realize I am 84 & can't do like I always did.
I am glad your "perk test" turned out okay. Do you have any idea when you will start building? I'm sure you are anxious.
I bet your plum trees are lovely. After you build you should get a magnolia tree. Your mom says hers (the one you & Jack gave her) has loads of buds on it.
I watched a good National Geographic last night. It was 2 hours. I like programs like that.
Ruth brought me a big piece of rhubarb pie this morning. I love them. I gave her the recipe years ago.
Well, hon, not much news here so write soon & take care.
Love always,
Grandma
Love to Jack.
