There really is not much news around here.
They are resurfacing the driveway out front. We have to park our cars across the street in a big parking lot. There is a big office building across the way & the lot belongs to them. They gave us permission to park there for a few days.
Did I tell you I went to the doctor about my leg? Well, it was almost 3 weeks & the swelling didn't go down. Around my ankle there was a big ring of purple & green bruises. The original bruise is just under my knee, so I couldn't figure out why this should be on my ankle. Well, he said that the bruise was on the bone (going down my leg) & the blood had to go some where so that's where it went. It is almost gone now though. The knot on my leg is about 1/2" high now. It will go down eventually.
Ruth & I want go to out for lunch tomorrow.
I hope your plants are doing okay. I saw some small violets at the Farmer's Market but didn't buy any. I don't think they do as well as the regular ones.
I am not planning on anything for Xmas as I don't know what I will be doing. If the doctor would just let me make the drive!! I feel pretty good most of the time.
Did the other Rose of Sharon bloom this year?

Mrs. Wallace's niece comes home from Australia on the 27th. She was gone almost a month.
