This sweet design is accompanied by the sentiment "Many people have granddaughters, but there are very few who could ever hold a candle to a granddaughter as dear as you!" . My grandmother signed it "Love - Your old grandma". I find that very amusing these days as I realize that when she signed that card, she probably wasn't much older than I am now!! Yikes!!
