Dear Shelby,
We're practically buried in snow! Besides the snow, we had 30 mph winds. There are drifts 4' to 5' high. It had the audacity to snow again last night after we had our cars shoveled out -- another $15. Now it is supposed to dump another pile on us by Friday. We haven't had any mail since Saturday & our paper missed Monday.
Becky went to the store yesterday & got Ruth a few things & me a 1/2 gallon of milk. If your car gets stuck you will be fined! Jersey & Pa turnpike was closed down for 2 days. We will all have cabin fever! It is bitter cold on top of all that. I guess your mom won't be up any time soon.
Even if you can get out, when you get where you are going -- there isn't any place to park.
I am reading "Remember" by Barbara Taylor Bradford. I just started it so I don't know how good it is.
I finished the puzzle & it was beautiful. I couldn't leave it alone once I started.
I was so carried away with out snow problem, I didn't ask if you had any? It seems it even hit the deep south. West Virginia got a pile of it, according to the news.
Well, I must get this in the mail slot, hoping she comes today, so let me hear from you. Love to you & Jack.
Love always,
Grandma
