I Will Never Forget ... ~~ Thank You Note From Mom To Grandma ~~ Fall 1974

 

As well as sending flowers & daily cards to me while I was hospitalized, Grandma also sent cards & letters to my mother to keep her spirits up also.  I remember how excited my mother was over the unexpected gift of earrings.

Dear Mama,

Just to thank you for the beautiful flowers & all the great cards you sent me.  The days are very long in the hospital especially that far from home.  They meant a great deal & the earrings are just beautiful.  You really shouldn't have done that, but since you did I really love them.
