Grandma Letter ~~ Postmarked June 26, 1987

 

She wrote:

Dear Shelby,

I am sending you a photo of the entrance to the Rose Garden.  Had one picture left on the roll & stopped to take it so I could have them developed.  The one in the halls turned out very well but the gym photos are too dark.  I sent your mom copies of the ones I took & so ask her to show them to you and if you want any, let me know.  

I am almost through with the doll picture, then I have to do the back stitching.  That will be a job.  Then I can start yours.

I can just see your dad's reaction to the suggestion of the gift of a kitten!

Please let me know about your birthday present.

Well, I must get up to the farmer's market, as I need some fruit.

It is drizling outside.
