Dear Shelby,
Thanks for the lovely card! It is one Ruth should have. She collects mice! You are so thoughtful.
I kept hoping I would get to see your home. I was afraid I wouldn't feel like making the trip down but it went very well.
I hope you won't get the bad frost on your plants. It was in the 20s up here.
I've bought two cartons of strawberries. Only 83 cents each. They were good. The home grown ones are always better.
I am sending your Mom the graph of the girl in the cosmos. It is a beautiful picture. So life like.
Jana gave me a new Danielle Steele book to read. The title is "The Ranch" It is very good so far.
On April 29th we are going to have a special dinner. Filet of sole stuffed with crab meat and for dessert - cheese cake!! It is to honor all the volunteers that help serve, etc..
I am trying to find a cleaning lady. Dr. Shore doesn't want me to do any heavy work. A lot of the ladies here have them. They are all getting old & feeble like I am! It is my legs that are so bad. That is from my heart. I have learned to accept it however bad it gets.
Well hon, no news as of now so let me hear from you & hope you and Jack are well! Write when you can & take care.
Love to Jack!!
Love always,
Grandma
