Collins Marina, Coinjock, North Carolina - 1968

Our next door neighbors sailed their boat from a James River marina to Nags Head, NC in 1968.  They sent my parents this postcard dated July 5th, 1968.  She wrote:

"Hi, Making trip alright.  Weather a little rough.  Plan to be in Nags Head late evening.  See you soon."

They must have docked at this marina at some point.  The postcard description lists the amenities:

~ Conveniently located on the Intercoastal Waterway
~ Dockside restaurant specializing in seafood, steaks & chicken home cooked to order
~ Hot showers
~ Lounge
~ Telephone
~ Ice
~ Mail Pick Up
~ 8 ft of water
~ Mechanic available
~ All major credit cards honored
