Dear Shelby,
Received your letter on Tuesday. Glad to hear from you.
It is gloomy & dreary today. I am trying to clean.
The building maintenance electrician came a while ago to put a new switch on my hood over the stove. I use the light a lot. If I hadn't seen him & just heard him talk, I would have sworn it was your Dad. It turns out he was from Dinwiddie. He said he moved up here with AT&T & later retired from there.
Did you get all your trees planted? That must have been a job.
Your Mom said she wanted to come up soon but this week it is supposed to be rainy.
The tulips & hyacinths are blooming here.
I have been listening to the O.J. trial. It sure is interesting. He just sits there & smirks & rolls his eyes.
Did I tell you I had my car inspected last week? We have to have an emissions test & a sticker that says we had it plus all the other things they do for inspection. I did have the tires rotated.
Well hon, not much news here , so write when you can & love to Jack! Take care.
Love always,
Grandma
